Introduction	A native Carolinian, April grew up not-so-wild and almost always barefoot in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. Living in an area steeped with tradition, culture and a waterfall called Shunkawauken molded a lifelong love of all things historical. After twelve years and five colleges she received her bachelor's degree in history but never lost her Appalachian-American accent. April is an amateur genealogist, a member of Roses Colored Glasses, a passionate supporter of Buildin' the Dream, Arizona Dreamin', and wine enthusiast (as long as it's red and sweet). She currently resides in a much flatter part of South Carolina with her children, dreaming of the day she will once again return to her misty mountain home.

Favorite movies	I am ashamed to admit, I'm not much of a movie gal. I refuse to watch anything scary because I can't sleep for months afterward. I don't particularly care for sappy, make-me-cry movie either. I like a good comedy and I enjoy movies that are history based (they don't even have to be accurate). Action-adventure is fun and Sci-fi always makes my mind soar.
