| Introduction | Joins UCI after 17 yrs in LORT world. BC has credits all across the USA. In NY, he asst'd John Gromada for the Roundabout production of The Father starring, & Dan Moses Shrier for Golden Child, which started at The Public, and made its way to a Tony Nominated Broadway show. He also Designed the 25th Anniversary New York Production of Dames At Sea. BC spent several summers doing Summer Stock Theater in NC, KY, and NH. He then moved to CA, & worked 11 years at South Coast Repertory. While in residence there, he designed a lot, including 25 world premieres, & The Birds, a co-pro with Berkley Rep, where he was nominated for the Bay Area Theater Critics award for Best Sound Design. While at SCR, BC put his LCS talents to use for many other venues, including La Jolla Playhouse, The Geffen, The Griffith Observatory, L.A. Auto Show, Universal Studios, & others. BC enjoyed the "once in a lifetime opportunity", to open 2 new theaters, The Julianne Argyros Stage at South Coast Repertory, & the Dee & Charles Wyly Theater in the AT&T Performing Arts Center in Dallas, TX. BC has a BA in Communications from Elizabethtown College in PA, & an MFA from Ohio University in Athens, OH. |
