| Introduction | A constituent college of the University of Delhi, it is one of the only two women’s colleges in West Delhi. ‘ Bharati ’ meaning speech, is also the title of Goddess Saraswati, the Goddess of the Arts and Knowledge. The College has as its motto the saying: ‘na hi gyaanen adrisham pavitramih vidyute’ i.e. nothing in this world is more sacred than knowledge. It endeavors, constantly, to live by both, its name and its motto. |
