| Introduction | I am a PhD Candidate at Oklahoma State University studying the fire-grazing interaction under Dr. Sam Fuhlendorf, as well as the owner of Shifting Mosaics Consulting. From 2006 - 2012, I was the Range Agrologist and Tenures Forester running the Range Program in the Fort Nelson Forest District for the Ministry of Forests and Range, Government of British Columbia, Canada. I am a P.Ag., R.P.Bio, FIT and an EP. I hold a B.Sc. (Agr.) major: Environmental Biology from McGill University and a B.A. (French) from the University of Victoria. I am a founding member of the Fort Nelson Invasive Plant Management Area as well as the Chair of the North East Prescribed Fire Council. I was the Northern Interior's Forest Service representative on the British Columbia Rx Fire Council. I am currently a Director on the Grasslands Conservation Council of BC, the President of the Society for Range Management (BC Chapter), a director of the Society for Ecological Restoration, BC and a past Vice-President of the BC Inistitute of Agrologists Peace Branch. I also serve as a member of Fort Nelson Search and Rescue and am an active member of the Fort Nelson Minerva women's group. |
