| Introduction | Each day painting "en plein air" is an exciting challenge to capture the ever-changing light and shadow. Although I have painted since I was a child growing up in Winter Park, Florida, oil painting became my avocation several years ago while living and working in Seattle, Washington. After many years pursuing my career in corporate advertising, I've returned to Florida to devote my time to painting the landscape I remember from my childhood. Using nature as inspiration, my goal is not to duplicate the scene, but to give the viewer the sense of being in the beautiful landscape. |
