Introduction". . .a beauty neither of fine color nor long eyelash, nor pencilled brow, but of meaning, of movement, of radiance." (Jane Eyre) People may call me quiet. People may say I'm strange. Strangers may wonder if I’m insecure. They are free to ponder . . . I am who I am. I do not fit inside a box. I find freedom in my pensive spirit, quirky sensibilities, and paradoxical views. My hope is that this blog will be the rebirth of my lost-love. I was 9 when I knew that writing was my life. I left this behind after graduating from college with a B.A. in writing. I was burnt out and beaten down. Now I am ready again to feel the words that once gave me breath and life -- a Prodigal Poet. I believe in acceptance, tolerance, and unconditional compassion. It is my hope to exude this in everything that I do. I hope that this blog can offer a bit of insight, a bit of humor, and most of all, a bit of comfort. If nothing else, I'd like to let people know that someone out there understands.
