About me

Location Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
Introduction My earliest identity is that of being a twin. It has been pointed out to me that identical twins are mirror image; therefore, opposites. With Sheila being academic, I am more creative. My love for colouring turned into a love for painting, followed by beading, followed by knitting, followed by ….you get the point. One creative constant has been my passion for all things HAIR. In 2006, I took a leap and left the office world behind. Now, I often refer to working as playing; suffice to say, I find my job quite FUN! Hair is not my only passion. I also love spending time with my two daughters, which is why I chose to do hair out of my home. My husband Andrew has also become a large part of my identity. At a very young age, along with crushing over British boy bands, I had decided that I would marry a man like my father, or an Englishman like my Uncle Terry. Andy is similar to my Dad, in that he likes a good beer, but that’s about it! He certainly couldn’t be more British though! Who I am today is largely who I have always been, but I guess in a more evolved sense. I’ve moved on from playing with dolls and lusting over British boy bands; now it’s the real deal!
