| Introduction | I come from a long line of food lovers. My father was a chef and as I grew up I was totally unaware of the wonderful British institutions he had the privilege of cooking in, they were simply my playgrounds. My mother on the other hand, was a home cook of the ‘Larkin’ variety. Raised on old school home cooking with fresh produce (and poultry) from my grandparents East End garden this form of cookery was handed down to me in all its old school glory. So with the fusion of kitchen heritage behind me…it makes perfect sense I like to stuff my face. |
