Introduction	I am a wife of one, a mother of one and a half (the second is a beagle mix), a a substitute teacher, and an aspiring writer. At the moment, the only place you'll see my work is this blog, but hey, that could change. Until this year, my husband was employed by the U.S. Navy. That was definitely a developing experience. We learned a lot about waiting, about hoping, and about keeping the end in sight. Now he is employed by a computer company, and I anticipate learning about daily appreciation and keeping the routine exciting. I once took a test that evaluated people by their favorite snack food. I chose Cheetos (R), and the magazine told me that Cheetos lovers are very spiritual people. (I had to wonder if crunchy or puffs made a difference.) I am very interested in manifestations of the spiritual and metaphysical in daily life. I like fantasy literature, philosophy, religious histories, and abstract connections between random facts. But I also like hands on activities like painting, crocheting, and folding laundry, which is a good thing at this point.
Favorite movies	Star Wars (the originals), Much Ado About Nothing, Pride and Prejudice (the long BBC version)
Favorite music	If I really want to be uplifted, I put in choral music.
Favorite books	Anything by C.S. Lewis or G.K. Chesterton
