IntroductionJust prior to my 16th birthday, I noticed I was losing my hair, and immediately began a quest to find good looking ways to camouflage my hair loss. After years of tears, I found a hair replacement resource and a fabulous hair stylist who was instrumental in helping me feel normal once again. I worked in the hair replacement industry for several years, and wrote a quarterly newsletter about alopecia. I was a founding member of the first women’s support group for Androgenetic Alopecia, and appeared on The Today Show (interviewed by Katie Couric), to talk about the emotional ramifications of alopecia. All very cathartic! As beautiful as my hair piece was, at times I couldn’t or didn’t want to wear it. This necessity lead me to design a collection of Headwraps, SleepCaps, Baseball Caps and accessories for women. I offer my finely detailed, beautifully handcrafted Headwrap of Marin collection through my website: www.ninisniche.etsy.com. The collection is hand made by my seamstress Christina Vanni in Northern California, and includes coordinating accessories. I will soon have my book, “Coping with Chronic Bad Hair Day”, available on the site as well.

You're wearing a sweater that stretches down to your feet. What color belt do you put on?

Black - if I'm wearing a sweater down to my feet, might a black belt make me look slimmer?
