| Introduction | In April of 2011 my husband and I were asked by his college roommate if we would be interested in moving to Nigeria to work for his construction company. After much pondering and a great deal of prodding from me (I'm always Up for adventure), we decided to give it a go. And so began the mad process of either packing, selling or donating our "life" in the states in favor of a rural existence in a far off land. On September 19,2011 we boarded the plane headed for our future in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, Nigeria. This blog is a chronicle, an update, a travel poster and a even sometimes a rant about our experiences here in "Paradise Falls". |
