Introduction	Eion was one of the pioneers of commercial ethnographic films and have produced 54 ethnographical films amongst other for the Uniliver Institute, Adcock Ingram, Tiger Foods, Unilever etc. In the text book ‘Marketing in South Africa – Cases and Concepts’ (Van Schaik) some of Eion’s visual material can be seen. Since 1999, Eion has conducted taped interviews with more than 1000 subjects, including corporate executives, consumers, policy makers, politicians, high level entrepreneurs and long time support staff.
