| Introduction | "Gordon Massman: The Essential Numbers, 1991-2008" was just published by Tarpaulin Sky Press, which is a sort of selected poems from a project I have been working on for twenty plus years of numbered pieces each plunging as deeply as possible into the male psyche. You can check it out at: http://tarpaulinskypress.com I live rural Western Mass, a refugee from the urban assault of Boston, finally unable to listen to motorcycles, car alarms, jet engines, and emergency vehicles. It's peaceful here, I'm crowded in by trees and criss-crossing creeks and streams. I feel like I am regaining my sanity. I turned sixty this year which is a shock. I became a grandfather last year. My parents are hitting 90. My son is 30 and my daughter 37. |
