IntroductionI've been with DUC since it's beginnings, even before it existed! I started playing when I was 26 on DUC’s pre-cursor game, My Story is Makeover, on January 4, 2007, and I've been along for the ride ever since. I was highly involved in beta testing days before the Fashionmaker, but once the official DUC site launched in 2009 and introduced the Fashionmaker, my creative juices started flowing and I became absolutely addicted to design. I've been privileged to win several DUC challenges with my creations, and now I want to share the tips and info I've used to achieve success and, more importantly, to enjoy creating unique designs. Outside of DUC, I'm happily married, and have no children yet (but I do have a really cute dog!). I have a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and do a little freelance editing. I hope to break into writing someday as well.
InterestsReading, writing, watching/collecting movies, swimming, dancing, playing games (word, puzzle and strategy mostly), decorating, baking, cross-stitching, dog training, painting and playing on DUC. :D
Favorite moviesI have too many to count, but some that come to mind are Phantom of the Opera, Pride & Prejudice, The Princess Bride, almost any Disney or Pixar animation, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, While You Were Sleeping, Get Smart, The Wedding Planner, Rear Window, Psycho (original Hitchcock version), most Hitchcock films, Braveheart, and An Affair to Remember. The list really goes on and on though.
Favorite musicI'm pretty eclectic...I like almost every genre except rap and heavy metal.
Favorite booksI have many, but here's a few: Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen (I love all Jane Austen books actually); Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston; Loves Music, Loves to Dance by Mary Higgins Clark (really anything by Mary Higgins Clark); romantic comedies by Debbie Macomber, and Twilight Saga by Stephanie Meyer.

What would you wear for camouflage if you were hiding in a gingerbread house?

Frosting. ;)
