| Introduction | Marcus's diverse experience includes editing network television, commercials, feature films, short films, music videos, corporate productions and television projects. Recently, Marcus has been an editor on Real Stories, Rove Live, Seriously 40 & Bread for Network 10 and Network 7’s ‘Coxy’s Big Break’. He has also edited and done digital effects on commercials for clients such as Ponds, AFL, Renault, Ford, Mazda & TAC. His dedication to drama editing can be seen with his representation in the 2006 St. Kilda Film Festival, with 3 of his films in competition. He was co-editor of the feature film ‘Little Deaths’ and was the assistant editor on the feature ‘Noise’. Marcus is an expert on Apple Final Cut Pro, holding workshops and training courses for Open Channel. He presented at LAFCPUG with Walter Murch and at Melbourne’s Digital Media World Festival 2006. His skills include offline & online editing, compositing and color grading. Marcus even writes his own FCP plug-ins. He has developed & implemented High Definition post-production paths for HDV, DV, HDCAM and Varicam to 35mm print. He is also one of Australia’s experts on Panasonic’s Varicam HD technology. |
