| Introduction | Picture this: a small red-headed girl barely six years old is seen carting an armful of books up to the library check out desk. She places her bounty onto the counter, her bobbing ponytail the only thing visible to the librarian. That girl has an obvious love for reading, and now, 15 years later, she still does. That little girl was me. I have had a passion for both reading and writing since I was a young girl, and that passion has grown, giving me a heart for helping this country become more efficient in literacy. |
