| Introduction | 90-92 walked on at NEO A&M college and was awarded a scholarship in the fall.In 1993,transfered to UALR where he walked on. "I realize now that I shot higher than my talent would allow me to play. The truth is I was a NCAA DII player at best, but I don't regret my decision because I have learned a lot and that is what I want to share with young players that has aspirations of playing in college." I believe I was playing above my head, but I was not aware of other options. I want to share my knowledge with promising high school players that there is other options. I will say if it wasn't for baseball I might not have started my college education or finished it as well. 1999 - BA in History from UALR 2006 - MA Leadership and Management from Webster University. 02-03 - UALR - An athletic administrator; 03-05 - Athletic Director for St. Joseph Catholic Junior and Senior High in Pine Bluff, Arknasas. Has been an assistant coach for the Little Rock Catholic Rockets for the past 5 seasons. 2010, Martinous accepted the head baseball coaching position at Little Rock J. A. Fair High School. |
