Introduction Spent 33 years in education--first as a teacher, and then as a principal. Now retired and trying to find my creative self. Learning lots of new things like improving my writing, stained glass, and improving my photography. I serve on a board as the president of the Salt Lake Affiliate for NAMI and volunteer in many other various capacities. I'm married and we have 4 beautiful children and 2 gorgeous grandchildren. I grew up in Billings, Montana, attended college at Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington, then transferred to BYU in Provo, UT and graduated with majors in Sociology and Elelmentary Ed, with the equivalent of one in Philosophy. Graduated later from the LPP program at BYU with a Masters in Educational Leadership.
Interests reading, snow skiing, stained glass, writing, photography, nature, crafts, card making, scrap booking, philosophy, travel, mental illness (NAMI), teaching adults and children, the arts
Favorite Movies Lady Sings the Blues, Steel Magnolias, Name of the Rose, old black and while movies, especially with Bette Davis or Joan Crawford, any good psychological drama, Mr. Jones, Bug's Life
Favorite Music soft rock oldies from the 60's or 70's, jazz, classical, Bob Marley, Rita Coolege, broadway music, almost anything but hard rock or heavy metal
Favorite Books Snow Falling on Cedars, The Idiot, any Ayn Rand book, most Grisham books, The Help
