Introduction	Abandoned by the government after 32 years due to ill health I now struggle to get by on 'allowances' and so I craft to keep myself mentally happy. I have a good life, a loving other half and 2 glorious daughters of whom I am enormously proud of. I am also a Nana and delight in this new role.
Interests	Food, money, having enough, card making, crafting with friends. Of course my family and my dogs
Favorite movies	Anything science fiction, Forbidden Planet was my introduction into the genre followed by Jason and the Argonauts - still firm favourites today. Star wars, Star Trek, Stargate, most of the Marvel movie adaptations, Avatar, Alien (all) Blade Runner. I could go on and on. Aside from Sci-Fi I also like Shawshank Redemption, The Untouchables, Any 007 movie, The Truman Show (unusual as I cannot stand Mr Carrey)
Favorite music	Anything that holds a tune and/ or a good lyric. I refuse to be held back by choosing genres when there is so much good music out there.
Favorite books	The Bible, anything by John Wyndham, Charles Dickens, Colin Dexter (Inspector Morse writer)
