| Introduction | Bryan and I were married in June 2006 in Mesa, Arizona. We lived in an apartment in Gilbert where we got our puppy, Dasher, a few months later; he is a furball of energy that never stops. Once he got too big for our one bedroom we bought our first house in Queen Creek. We love it here! A while later, we decided to try our parenting skills out on something a little less furry and were blessed with a little baby boy, Kyler Dustin, in November 2007. Kyler was born 15 weeks premature and is our precious miracle! We love him so much and are so proud of the fight he has put on to stay here with us. He stayed 83 days in the NICU after birth and has had throat, heart, and brain surgery since being home. Kyler has Hemiplegic Cerebral Palsy that affects the right side of his body and his left leg as well. He also has Hydrocephalus that is being treated with a VP Shunt. He has many challenges but overall is very healthy and progressing well. We have no schedule in our life, every week is filled with different doctors, therapies, appointments, and some occasional random free time...we are never bored. Every day truly is a new adventure, and we love it! |
