| Introduction | A few months ago a friend of mind was making some reference to some writer that I can't even remember now. He said it in a "Of course you know this, everyone should know this" tone and it triggered in me the thought that I really should know. Since then, I have been on a quest to seek learning out of the best books. I have found online several lists of the "best", "Greatest", "Most Influential", "Must Read" etc. and have discovered that the one thing for sure is that not much is agreed upon when it comes to deciding the best books... But I have found several books that appear on most of these lists, even know their ranking on the lists varies greatly, and have decided to start with those. So this blog will be a record of which books I tackle in the order I get to them, which will be greatly influenced by what is available at the great Dallas Public Library and the suggestion of friends. |
