| Introduction | My name is Nendahwaab, I am from the Sleeping Bear Dunes on the coast of Lake Michigan, I am Turtle Clan, the story tellers of Odawa Indians. I am a blond hair, blue eyed adopted member of the Odawa Nation. I am not an Indian, but I believe many of my values are closer to Native America beliefs that they are to white society. Nendahwaab means” Seeker of Dancing Light”. Turtle Island is the Native Americans name for North America. In this blog I will feature videos, photos, maps & descriptions of cool places I have found, stories, & whatever else I think you may be interested in. I tend to seek out wild or natural areas that are extremely Cool! I am 62 & live full time in an RV with my old Lab/Chow mix. His name is Animoosh Nee May. Which is Ojibwa for “Dancing Dog”.
