| Introduction | I live in one of the most beautiful corners of the world. Having always loved 'playing' with art, as my nest emptied I decided it was time to explore both my love of art and my home. Thus, it was that I 'discovered' the joys of working with acrylics and have started trying to capture this corner of the planet on canvas. I have been a part of the Columbia Valley for over four decades. For the past thirty-one years I have lived in Edgewater with my husband where we raised three children. A teacher by profession, I have taught locally both full-time and on-call in addition to several years of home-schooling my own family. Having always dabbled in art and photography, it is in the past few years as my nest has emptied that I have returned to exploring my passion for painting. Self-taught I am currently working with acrylics although previously I have explored oils and water colours. |
