James M. Davis & Gurukarta K. Khalsa
| Introduction | James takes inspiration from his childhood, growing up and showing animals on a farm outside of Dallas. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Services and Development from Tarleton State University in 1994. He is an award-winning documentary filmmaker and the author of the children’s book series, The Adventures of Lollie & Ollie. He currently resides outside Houston, Texas, with his family and his cat Ziggy. Gurukarta is a published poet, author of the children's picture book The Most Amazing Thing, award-winning lyricist, and award-winning documentary filmmaker. She has been a yoga teacher since 1977 and an ordained minister since 1980. She takes inspiration from nature, animals, and spiritual teachings. She lives outside Houston, Texas, with her family and happy rescued dogs. |
