Introduction	I am an ever evolving man, husband, dad and doctor who has a burning desire to make a difference in the world. I believe we critically need to find ways to love and care for one another and to meet needs when we see them. I grow best and minister best when my focus is outwards rather than inwards, and so I struggle to keep it there. I have been shaped by my family, friends and experiences, including where I was born (Lubbock, Texas), where I live (Hobbs, New Mexico), my chosen denomination and religion (Southern Baptist Christianity) and my chosen profession (Medicine, specifically women's healthcare). My roots are deeply planted in the windy South Plains and it is because of this my blogs are so named.
