| Introduction | I am a college writing center director/tutor/instructor who has pretty much left the field to make my way in the big, bad, rather exciting, world. I am also one of Pat Murphy's friends. Yes, the (in)famous Murphy's New York a go-go blogger. She and I met in graduate school, and our friendship has survived countless years in separate states. I have two dogs, four children, six grandchildren, a mother and a grandmother that I help out quite often, innumerable hobbies, thousands of books (literally, thousands!), about 30 binders of research and original prose and poetry. It's funny what you find when you finally unpack ALL your boxes. |
