| Introduction | I'm an Essex girl, and a proud one, having been born and raised in the county town Chelmsford. However, I have more than two brain cells, I'm not blonde, and this computer screen is not covered in Tippex - yet. Essex has its reputation, but it also has a certain charm, evident in the millions of people faking Essex accents and asking for a "vajazzle" (however you spell it) following ITV's hit series The Only Way Is Essex, or TOWIE. We can be brash, we can be loud, we can be "common", but we are caring, loyal and hard-working... albeit a bit insulated. This blog aims to be a dip-in, dip-out of my life and views, as I embrace the spiders, wilderness and rain of Cumbria. You can take the girl out of Essex, but can you take Essex out of the girl? |
