About me

Introduction	Welcome to Mrs. Huettl's Kindergarten Class. This is my sixth year teaching at Somerset Elementary; however, I also spent six fantastic years at Somerset as a student. I love that I get to teach at such an amazing school and with such amazing kindergarteners!!! My family includes my husband, Joe, our daughters, Bailey (5 years) and Addison (3 ½ years) and our black lab, Gunner. This summer I spent a lot of time with Bailey and Addie, going for walks, going to the pool and visiting friends and family. I also help manage my family’s business. We sell cheese curds at county fairs and city festivals, as well as roasted sweet corn at the Corn Roast during the Minnesota State Fair. Here are some more fun facts about me… •My favorite color is pink- I even have pink stones in my wedding ring. •I have two younger siblings, one brother and one sister. •I teach tap, jazz, and ballet dance at Estyre Brindle Dance Theatre. •My favorite food is tacos. •I taught preschool in Australia for a summer and found Nemo!
