| Favorite books | I have been an avid reader since the 3rd grade when I read at least 12 of the Wizard of Oz Books. In our small one-room library in Garibaldi, Oregon, I would start reading at one end of a shelf and read all the books on that shelf. I was an avid, "omnivorous" reader. At the University a I read under the direction of my professors and from the lists of the best books. Recently I have read the Pern series by Anne McCaffrey, the Sword of Shannara series, The Ender's Game series by Orson Scott Card, the Abhorsen trilogy by Garth Nix, the Dark Materials trilogy by Phillip Pullman, and pretty much any fantasy or science fiction books. |
