| Introduction | This blog is for all participants of treasure island. Treasure Island is a colaboration between Painted (Saskia van Drimmelen, Desirée Hammen, Margreet Sweerts, www.paintedseries.com) and students of Pascale Gatzen who follw the fashion curriculum of IDC Parsons the new school for design. Together we will invite artisans and we will create pieces for the house using old handicrafts in a different way and transformed to the new. The house for which we are invited by Renny Ramakers (www.droog.com) is based on Governors Island in NY and in September 2009 we will present our work in a ongoing workshop. |
