| Introduction | I represent and advise privately-held companies on international business and trade matters, including compliance with the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctions, anti-boycott regulations, deemed exports, voluntary self-disclosures, and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. I also represent clients before U.S. Customs and Border Protection in investigations, fines, penalties, forfeitures, and prior disclosures, as well as advise clients on matters of classification, country of origin, marking, and valuation. When not handling international trade regulatory matters, I represent domestic and foreign parties in U.S. and international commercial litigation and arbitration. |
