Introduction	Welcome. For those of you that are first time visitors, you should be aware of is that this blog is not for people seeking advice on soup and sandwich combinations. I will talk about food on occasion, but I strongly recommend you go get your primary culinary advice elsewhere – you’re not my audience. For those of you that are further intrigued, soup sandwich is a slang term that I picked up while serving in the army and appears to be rather appropriate for the content that is generated below (i.e. a big fucking mess). I’ll share stories with you based upon experiences from both me and my friends from the past 40 years. I’ll also have some opinion pieces on politics or news items that resonate with me.
