| Introduction | If you are old enough to remember Mother Earth News and Green Acres, you can begin to imagine how I live. Right now I am sitting by the woodstove keeping warm. This morning I hauled wood in for the day. Every once in a while I reach over and stoke the fire, add water to the pots on top of the stove to keep moisture in the air. Furthermore, the few spare moments I have this time of the year, I spend planning my garden. I've ordered the seeds to start my tomatoes and peppers, I've got my red potatoes sitting in a dark place in order to eye up, and I have onions on the counter ready to plant. I noticed yesterday that my garlic is already coming up. Beside pursuing a PhD. in Critical Literacies, I love creative writing, history, and politics. |

Led Zepplin, Lynard Skynard, Nazereth,Van Morrison, The Eagles, Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac, The Boss (Bruce), Stevie Ray Vaughn, Johnny Rivers, AC/DC, ZZ Top, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, The Beatles, Neil Young,The Band, CCR, Black Crowes, Hootie and the Blowfish, Ray Charles, Bette Middler, Barbara Steisand, Dean Martin (I grew up listening to him, my uncle is Italian!), Santana, Black Oak Arkansas, Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, Conway Twitty, George Jone, Hank Sr & Jr, Dixie Chicks, Aaron Neville, Al Green, and so many more. My Zen holds 60 gig, I love music. |
