Introduction	I teach Honors World History at Loyola High School in Southern California. I am also the Speech and Debate Coach. I have a wonderful, intelligent, and beautiful wife and two beautiful children. The Honors World History course is intended to provide students with a survey of the major developments and patterns in World History since the Middle Ages. I want students to see that History is not a dead list of facts and names. Rather, it is a conflicting field of interpretation. It is also a flowing course of relationships. Ideas, events, conflicts and developments have led to the problems and successes of the Modern World. This course intends to root out the line of development of all of these issues.
