| Introduction | I thought of calling this blog "I am a legal alien," but it was taken! Although British, I have lived in Germany for the last 30 years, currently living and working in Wiesbaden where I am Priest-in-charge of the Anglican/Episcopal Church of St. Augustine of Canterbury. I recently returned from the USA where I completed a Master of Divinity Degree at Virginia Theological Seminary. Although baptized and confirmed in the Church of England I was ordained as a priest in the Episcopal Church. Until 2011 I worked for a German-based global insurance company and held a number of senior managerial positions. I am married and have, and am proud of, two children both now studying in England. Before starting seminary in the US I studied part-time for three years at St. John's Theological College in Nottingham, England. |
