| Introduction | I was taught that “you can have it all”. I was a Career woman of the 80’s; working my heart out as an engineer in Ford’s Engine Manufacturing Staff. 15 years later…“Ouch” hit that glass ceiling; only it felt like concrete. What did I do? I Bought a Villa on a Beach... I was going far far away, not an Automotive Plant in site! I was bound for Margaritavilla, going to live with the Mayans; life would be so simple “Just salt shaker of salt” like the song right? It's been 14+ years now since we have lived in Playa del Secreto, Mexico. A life that seems exotic to some now has become the norm to us. We are here to stay!
