Introduction | My name is Glenda, the designer and creator behind Vit-Su Costa Rican Handmade. I am an artisan, an art instructor, a teacher and a great salsa dancer. Art and handmade are more than a way to live for me, since that´s is my way to share the talents God gave me and the opportunity to bring to others joy and love through my job. I do handcraft using different art medias, using glass paint, acrylics on wood, decoupage and hand painting jewelry. I´ve learned all these techniques by experimentation, however, recently I took my first specialization course to become a professional on the use of the acrylic paint and now I handle around 40 different techniques on its application. As art became such a wonderful passion in my life, I assure you that everything is done from my soul, full of love and a great energy. I mostly get inspired on nature and my own culture. I found inspiration at any time everywhere; a glance at a sunset, a butterfly posed on a flower, a colorful hummingbird, a memory… Thanks for visiting my store, I am sure you will find something unique that inspire you too. I hope you enjoy every piece made by my hands for you. |
