| Introduction | Most people call me Steve, but I'm also known to various others as Uncle Steve, Stavros, Uncle Stavros, Slingin' Steve and Slinger (thanks Don McCormack :)), hence the title of this page. I don't mention it much, only to keep people guessing, but I don't mind saying that I'm 52. I'm single, and I live alone, and that's perfectly fine with me. Check out the quirkyalone website to get a good definition of that term, if you would like to understand that side of me better. I'm a part-time pension actuary and part-time sports writer. I'm a fan of all 3 of Cleveland's sports teams and the football and basketball Buckeyes. I have two sisters in the Boston area and three amazing nieces. And lots of friends.
