| Introduction | We were born two years apart on Memorial Day, which may help explain why for most of our lives we've been confused as twins! Maybe it's because our voices and laugh are nearly identical, or that we share an uncommon affection for animals and find things hilariously funny that most others wouldn't even notice. Over the past couple years, we've both become avid knitters, which leads us to the point of this blog... As Laura is moving to Berlin, Germany, and Lesley lives in Portland, Maine, we thought a unique way of staying in touch is to knit each other the same item and then exchange the finished product. We will each have full artistic license in choosing the color and type of yarn, and will post our results here on this blog. If we can't knit together, why not knit across the pond? |
