Introduction	Growing up miles apart, we met while working with the Upward Bound program. After several years of friendship and then dating, we tied the knot in May of 2003. Since that time we've moved once or twice we finally settled in Morehead and purchased our first home. We are both Morehead State University graduates (two times over) as well as MSU employees. Sam is currently a faculty member and is working on his doctorate at the University of Kentucky. Amanda works in the Financial Aid Office and is still trying to figure out what exactly she wants to do with her life (career wise:)! Now after 6 years of marriage we are getting ready to face our biggest (but probably most rewarding) journey yet... parenthood! We welcomed 7 lb 6oz Landrick in November of 2009... life's never been better!
