| Introduction | I was crowned Mrs. Texas 2010 on June 12th in Corsicana, Texas. This was already a special day in my life because my parents were married on June 12, 1971. I competed with 24 incredible and accomplished ladies whom are as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside.. I currently reside in McKinney with my husband, John, and our never boring Bengal cat, Penny Lane. I am honored to be representing the married women of Texas. I have been an advocate for Special Olympics for over 19 years and will continue championing this crucial organization. Eunice Kennedy Shriver is my greatest role model and I will continue to help bring attention to people with intellectual disabilities. I am looking forward to a wonderful year in the great state of Texas. |
