Introduction I was raised in Victoria and have been involved in sports and recreation all my life. I moved to the lower mainland after graduating highschool and it was here that I became a Recreation Therapist and worked for 7 years in this field. During my 14 years in the lower mainland I frequented the gym, rollerbladed, skied, biked, ran, played slo-pitch & golfed. In May of 2005, I gave birth to my beautiful, inspiring little boy, Tyson. During my pregnancy, I was introduced to yoga and loved the way it made me feel. After Tyson was born; I took occasional yoga classes through recreation centers. Then I found a Boot Camp infused with Yoga and Pilates which helped to balance and tone my body after pregnancy. Upon moving back to Vancouver Island in 2009; I was inspired to take the Yoga & Pilates Teacher Training programs at Feel Good Yoga & Pilates Studio. Initially, I planned to focus on strengthening my own practice; however, the training was such an amazing experience, I felt comfortable and excited to share this beautiful, grounding, strengthening and calming practice with others.
