| Introduction | The political ideology group that I affiliate myself closest with is the Upbeat group. I am more of an independent than anything, but I do tend to lean more to the right than the left on political issues. My greatest influence is myself, I am strong-willed and intelligent and I can do anything that I put my mind to. I have exercised my right to vote twice, once in the 2008 Presidential primary elections and the other time was in the Presidential election in November of 2008. I am taking this Government class because it is extremely important to be well-informed so that when the time comes to vote, I can make the best possible choice for myself and my country. After taking the civics quiz, I realized that I know more than I thought, but there is always room for improvement. I scored a little above average with s 75.76%. On the current events quiz, I surprised myself yet again and scored 7 out of 11. Again, there is still room for improvement but much better than I thought I would do. After taking this course, I hope to be able to make perfect scores on both. |
