| Introduction | Lynn Myrick was a college English professor until she felt called to serve God in a new and different way. She began work in religious publishing, as well as editing the "classics," and then went to Vanderbilt Divinity School to earn a Masters in Theology. Since her graduation in 2008, she has served as a college chaplain. In May 2009, she and her husband, Joel, made a radical change in their lives when they accepted the invitation to serve as Franciscan lay missioners. |
| Interests | Lynn enjoys reading and talking about literature, especially nineteenth century authors, theology, ethics, world affairs,and the Bible. Her main interests are learning Spanish, so that she can communicate with her new community in Bolivia, and learning all that she can about Bolivian culture. She also likes to watch films, listen to live music, spend time outdoors (walking, looking at the scenery, and hiking), and socialize with with family and friends. |
