American Studies Leipzig BA Plus Impressions

Introduction	I was born and raised in Leipzig. After I graduated from high school, I started studying American Studies at the Leipzig University. My interest inthe English language, culture, and history developed from early on. I already had the opportunity to visit the St. Paul’s High School in Concord/New Hampshire through an exchange program at high school. I will attend the University of Nebraska/Kearney for Fall Semester 2015. I’m excited for the BA Plus Program and I’m looking forward to spend the Spring Semester 2016 in Ohio. Also, I could imagine to go somewhere else during the Summer Semester as we have the opportunity to do an internship anywhere in the US. In my leisure time, I enjoy being outside to spend time with friends. Aside from that, I like running and good work outs. I can totally relax and switch off when doing sports which is a great balance in daily life. I’m proud and very thankful for being part of this program. The time abroad will not just strengthen my English skills, it will also shape my personality and inspire me in career terms.
