| Introduction | As a mother of four sons who required speech and language support in their early years, I built on a foundational interest in education and went on to do my post graduate studies in communication disorders. My earlier degrees are in religious education and social development studies with a TESL diploma as well. I am currently working in before and after school care for children in JK to Gr6. I also tutor children privately and lead the church children's programming. Clearly, I care about children and the communication field. This blog felt like a natural extension to share my knowledge in the hopes of inspiring others to seize more opportunities to build up reading, writing, speaking and listening skills in the children who are in their lives.
