| Introduction | I am a 52 year old mom of ONE, a 24 year old daughter. Married 25 + years and gave up a "career" to live my life "disabled" by Fibro. Are you tired, depressed, in pain and hopeless? | Interests | Fitness, health, making life better for those around me, especially those who suffer from this debilitating illness.Volunteering time and "talents" when I can. | Favorite movies | Contact, Pale Rider,The Wrong Man, The Third Man,really anything "classic"...or as some say "OLD". I find "old" movies more relaxing and less traumatizing than modern day horror or drama. Less....stress = less pain. |
| Favorite music | Everything from Classical to Metal. There's a time and place for everything. I also enjoy modern inspirational (AKA Christian music). We have two stations available in the NY Metro area. |
| Favorite books | I love inspirational books, which, of course, includes the Bible. I also love fiction/novels. I love reading in general. |
Why don't you ever wear a scarf? It doesn't need to be cold outside for your neck to feel naked.
Funny you mention it, I ALWAYS, or should I say, OFTEN wear a scarf. My neck can be a source of pain and when a "draft" or cold air hit it, it hurts. I've amassed quite a collection of scarves. Love them all. I probably have more scarves than clothing. Financially friendly, because they are "smaller" than purchasing an entire outfit, but they can change the "look" and "feel" of ANY outfit. :)
