| Introduction | My family is orginally from California, I was born in Utah. My father was a Middle Eastern Historian and we grew up overseas, mostly in Egypt, where I graduated from High School. I attended BYU in Utah, spent several years in Washtington, D.C. when the girls where very young and currently reside in Durham, NC with my boyfriend. I work at Duke University and absolutely love this area. I have three Daughers. The oldest is completing her Master's Degree at Florida State University, the middle Daughter will be graduating from Duke in May, and the baby just entered Guilford. I have been a single Mom for many years, and being a Mother has been one of the greatest accomplishments I've ever achieved. I have experienced marriage, divorce, dating as a single Mom, financial stress as a single Mom, and many health problems along the way. The one feedback that I constantly receive from my friends and co-workers is how much positive energy I radiate daily. I would like to now share with others, some of the things I have learned along my journey |
