| Introduction | I am mother, daughter, friend, pastor, weaver, reader and a person who is passionate about helping people who grieve and those who care about them. That passion has been expressed through my work as a chaplain providing spiritual care to people who are dying and grieving. Currently I am working as the Director of Support Services for St. Croix Hospice. In the past I have taught Comprehensive Bereavement Care with Gundersen Lutheran Bereavement Services and I have been an adjunct professor at Luther Seminary teaching a course on Grief Ministry. I am the author of two books, My Brother Dave: Living Through a Loved One’s Death and Women and the Word. My interest in helping the grieving became a heart felt matter when I experienced the death of my brother, Dave, when he was killed in an air ambulance crash while working as a flight nurse in Colorado. His death fuels my passion for offering programs and training to help people who grieving and those who care about them. Visit my web page at www.grief-training.com |
