| Introduction | I used to cross stitch in my 20's in college, made some nice presents for people when I had little money to spare, and made a few big projects here and there, but nothing for a long time. I went on a quilting jag while my son was small, but that slowed down dramatically when I went back to school for my RN, and slowed down even more when I started working crazy shifts at the hospital! Found my dream job working at a school, and now I have a lovely normal schedule and a normal family life! I was looking for a portable project to work on during my son's travel baseball games this summer, and remembered the cross stitch!!! Been trying to work on some little project during my down time ever since. Seems like I'm always waiting for something or someone, and it fills the time productively. |
